With the announcement and excitement of a new baby coming into the family comes the excitement of decorating the baby nursery. It is helpful to know whether the baby is going to be a boy or a girl if a gender specific room is desired. For a boy baby nursery, then the main color would likely be blue and the theme would consist of trucks, cars, trains and sports memorabilia.

Baby nursery ideas to keep in mind while decorating the room includes receiving blankets, sleepers, diapers and wipes, bottles, pacifiers, thermometer, lotion, baby bath, towels and wash cloths, and onesies or tee shirts, booties and if it is the winter a heavier cover or two when taking the baby out for doctor’s visits and such. Once the baby comes home then it will be time to fill the rooms of the home with lots and lots of photos of the baby with mommy, daddy and the grandparents.
